Industrial history tour

Listen to a historical steam engine in a demonstration! During a walk between the ventilation building, shafts 4 and 9 and the Consol park, learn more about the mine’s exciting history and the miners’ day-to-day work.

Dates: every 1st Sunday in the month at 2 p.m.

Duration: approx. 2 hours

Price: 5 Euros per person, children under 12 free

Meeting point: Consolidation Mine, parking lot at gatehouse, Consolstraße 1, 45889 Gelsenkirchen 

Offers for groups

For a group size from ten persons, we recommend booking an individual group tour. Special wishes for duration of tour and core thematic focus can be considered. We’re also happy to advise you regarding foreign language tours and offers for school classes and kindergarten groups.

Price: German: 100 Euros/group with a max. of 20 participants
