| The Prosper II Colliery Shaft 2 |

|
The Malakow tower above shaft number 2 on the site of the former Prosper II colliery is more than 30 metres high and is one of the last remaining walled winding towers in the Ruhr. The imposing construction with its richly structured architecture was built in the spirit of historicism. The tower is currently being restored and renovated by the Bottrop Historical Society as a monument to the history of mining and migration.
